Visitors are always welcome to come along to these meetings and join us just for the evening or if you enjoy it then why not become a member? The annual membership subscription is now £15.00 or for visitors/non-members a contribution of £3.50 per meeting is requested. 
(may be subject to change)

We serve tea/coffee and biscuits for a small charge of 50p.

January 18th
We shall be holding our Annual Dinner on Thursday January 18th 
at the Exeter Inn in Chittlehamholt with our friendly hosts Steve & Hazel 
7.00 pm for 7.30 pm Start.

February 8th
A talk by ex-policeman Simon Dell MBE entitled “A Virtual Tour Of Lundy Island”. Simon is the author of several books on the history and topography of Lundy. This will inspire you to make a visit! 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

March 14th 
A talk by Robin Hill of Andrew’s Corner Garden, Belstone, entitled “Dormice on North Dartmoor”. Robin’s observations of the little creatures over 30 years. 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

April 11th
Visit to Hanging Basket Demonstration by Jenny at Ash Moor Nursery, Rose Ash, EX36 4RF starting at 6pm. Plants will be available for sale.



May 9th
Visit to Kia-Ora Farm & Gardens, Knowle Lane, Cullompton EX15 1PZ at 2pm. A charming, peaceful 10 acre garden with lawns, lakes, water features, mature trees, herbaceous borders etc. Sorry no dogs. Entry incl tea £10.

June 13th
Visit to Backswood Farm, Bickleigh, Tiverton EX16 8RA at 2pm. This 2 acre nature garden provides many uniquely designed homes for wildlife, flower meadow, water features and ponds, with seating areas looking out over views of Exmoor and Dartmoor. Dogs on leads. Entry £6, tea £3.

July 18th
Whiddon Goyle, Whiddon Down, Okehampton EX20 2QJ at 2pm. With stunning views over Dartmoor, this garden started in the 1930s enjoys many features incl a rockery, croquet lawn, rose garden, ponds, and a thriving cut flower business which should be very colourful. Dogs on leads. Entry incl tea £10.

A talk by Peter Cantrill of Dayspring Plants entitled “Unusual Herbaceous Plants”. Plants will be available for sale. 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

November 14th
A talk by retired surgeon Dr Gavin Haig FRCS entitled “The Healing Garden”. Passion for wildlife led him to develop a garden for patients to enjoy at Tiverton Hospital. 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

December 12th
A talk by Michael Gee entitled “Devon Orchards”. 
How they became established, nearly disappeared, and have made a recent come-back. 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
